Scouts and Coaches Ticket Information

The Sioux City Musketeer’s organization is looking forward to hosting the 2008 USHL Fall Classic and welcoming you to Sioux City. The dates are set and the USHL Fall Classic will be played on September 25-27, 2008. The Tyson Events Center’s Gateway Arena and the IBP Ice Center in Sioux City, IA will be the host arenas. As in the past, all twelve USHL teams will participate and will play a game each day of the three-day event.

We want to make certain our NHL and College friends have first priority at our host hotel, The Marina Inn and Conference Center. The Marina Inn is an extremely nice and completely renovated hotel that features Kahill’s Steak and Chop House, the best restaurant in the Sioux City area. It is located on the banks of the Missouri River in South Sioux City, NE and just a 3 minute drive from the Tyson Events Center which is located directly across the river. Below please find the pertinent information.  I urge you to make reservations as soon as possible. This information will be released to the general public soon and we expect hotels in the entire Sioux City area to fill up quickly, as was the case last year.

We are adding a few things to enhance this year’s event including breakfast as part of the meal package, a golf outing on Wednesday afternoon, and for those country western fans, the Carrie Underwood concert on Sunday night the 28th.

Information on ushlfallclassic.com and/or the attached registration form includes:

  • 3 day passes with full breakfast, lunch, and dinner packages. All meals will be served on site in a private dining area. Pass includes admittance to all 18 games at both venues. Complete menus are available on the site.
  • Daily passes good for all 6 games each day as well as a breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Weekend and daily passes without the meal option
  • Hotel information
  • Golf outing at the Sioux City Country Club. This is REAL golf (not a scramble) play your own ball. Tee times between 2:00 and 3:00 Wednesday afternoon September 24th. Limited space available.
  • Rental Car Information
  • Flight information into Sioux City, Omaha, or Sioux Falls
  • Welcome Party Friday night downtown Sioux City
